Rearchitected the technical design of guideposts.org after the original offshore development shop built a site that didn't adhere to Drupal best practices.  Due to the original developer hacking core the site had serious scaling issues and tradional Drupal solutons weren't working.   The project was behind schedule and the budget was running tight when I arrived.  I rearchitected the system, put together a new schedule and worked within the remain budget to deliver the project.  After the hacks were pulled our of core we were able to use the cacherouter module to help the site scale.  I trained, mentored and evaluated developer in the local development shop.
